Students in the College of Agriculture receive advising from their department faculty. Each student is assigned to a faculty academic advisor by the department according to a variety of criteria. However, students are usually at liberty to meet with the faculty member of their choice from their major program, providing it is mutually agreeable between the student and the faculty advisor.
